How we use your details
This notice covers the Learning with Rolo alpha site at alpha.rolo.kids and the short form you can use to get in touch. We ask for as little as we can, we only use it to talk to you about the alpha, and we delete it when we no longer need it.

Who we are
Learning with Rolo is being built by Glowar Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14099798). Our registered office is Henge Barn, Pury Hill Business Park, Alderton Road, Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 7LS. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under number ZC261151.
Glowar is the "controller" of your details, which means we decide how they are used and we're responsible for looking after them. To ask us anything about this notice, or about your details, email alpha@glowar.co.uk.
What we collect
When you fill in the form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your child's age (not their name)
- your town or area
- how you heard about us, if you tell us
- anything else you choose to write in the message box
- that you ticked the box agreeing to us contacting you
Why we use it
We use your details only to talk to you about the alpha: to reply to you, to tell you whether your family has been picked, and, if it has, to arrange taking part. We don't use them for marketing, we don't sell them, and we don't share them with anyone except the services listed below that help us run the site.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing alpha@glowar.co.uk, and we will delete your details.
Who handles it
A small number of people at Glowar working on the alpha can see what you send. We also use these services, which handle your details only on our instructions:

Some of these services may process your details outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- If your family isn't picked, we delete your details within 30 days of letting you know.
- If your family takes part, we keep them for as long as the alpha runs, and delete them within 3 months of it ending, unless you've asked to stay in touch.
- Whenever you ask, we delete them sooner. Just email us.
When you visit the site
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind.
To show the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and some page code from unpkg.com, so those services see your device's IP address, as with any website that uses them. Cloudflare also keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the site secure and working.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the details we hold about you
- ask us to correct them
- ask us to delete them
- withdraw your consent at any time
- object to how we use them, or ask us to restrict it
Email alpha@glowar.co.uk and we'll reply within one month. It's free.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is for parents and carers. We don't ask children for their details. If you're under 18, please ask a parent or carer to get in touch for you.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your details, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change affects details you've already given us, we'll email you first.
